Vacation Bible School 2019

Our Vacation Bible School this year was another successful time of fun and learning thanks to all the hard work and prayer of the church family.

This year our theme was “Knights of the Gospel” and our lessons were centered around Ephesians 6 and the Armour of God.

The VBS team did an amazing job on the decorations including a mechanical drawbridge and some "real" dragon fire and smoke.

The kids loved interacting with our puppet crew, King Fredrick, Thomas, and Sparky the dragon!

We all had a great time singing songs and memorizing Scriptures.

We praise the Lord for the $860.86 raised for BEAMS to provide 108 Bibles for the people of Juarez, Mexico.

We more than doubled our goal of $400.00!

The excitement continued with a variety of clever games to earn points for Team Squires and Team Maidens.

But the most important part of each night was the lessons on the Armour of God and preaching of the Word of God.

Five of the children accepted Christ as their Saviour and several followed the Lord in baptism in the weeks that followed. Praise the Lord!

We are already looking forward to Vacation Bible School 2020 next year.

The most desired prize, won by one fine young man and selflessly and happily given to his friend. Good for you!

Mrs Tabby got a pie in the face at the end of VBS because the Squires beat the Maidens in overall points. Great sport!
